Sonia Gandhi, in an article written in the English daily ‘E Indian Express’, accused the government of the matter related to the Adani Group. He said that Prime Minister Narendra Modi and his ministers are boasting of ‘Vishwa Guru’ and ‘Amrit Kaal’ while a case of ‘financial embezzlement’ has come to the fore on his ‘favourite and favored businessman’.
Policy to benefit rich friends…
Sonia Gandhi also claimed, “The Prime Minister’s policy is to benefit a few of his rich friends at the expense of the poor and middle class, be it demonetisation, the wrongly designed GST and the hurting of small businesses. Whether there is a failed attempt to bring three agricultural laws or the agricultural sector is neglected.
‘Government property handed over to private hands’
He alleged that due to the subversive privatization, valuable national assets were handed over to private hands at very cheap prices, which became one of the reasons for unemployment. The Congress Parliamentary Party chief also claimed that the present government has also abrogated the far-reaching and empowering laws of the UPA government.
‘Oppose the wrong policies of the government’
He said, “It is the duty of like-minded Indians to come together, oppose the damaging moves of this government and lay the foundation for a change that people have been waiting for.” Sonia Gandhi alleged that this budget is a silent strike on the poor. He claimed that the Prime Minister disliked all kinds of talks about rights.

He has said that the Modi government has done a silent strike on the poor through the budget of the financial year 2023-24. Along with this, he also appealed to the like-minded people to come together and oppose the harmful steps of the government. He said that change should be brought by opposing the wrong policies of the government, which the public wants to see.
