New Delhi. PM Narendra Modi is still the first choice of the people of the country for the post of Prime Minister. Congress leader Rahul Gandhi, West Bengal CM Mamta Banerjee and Delhi CM Arvind Kejriwal do not live anywhere near them. This result has come in the survey of news agency IANS and C-Voter. The survey was conducted in Assam, West Bengal, Tamil Nadu, Puducherry and Kerala. Elections were held in all these places in 2021. Including all these places, there are 120 seats in the Lok Sabha. It is also clear from this survey that the strength of BJP is increasing continuously in Assam, West Bengal and Puducherry.
In Assam, 43 percent people took Modi’s name for the post of PM. After this, 11.62 percent people were seen in support of Kejriwal and 10.7 percent in favor of Rahul Gandhi. Rahul Gandhi is an MP from Wayanad seat of Kerala. 28 percent of the people of this state described Modi as their choice of PM post. After this 20.38 percent took Rahul’s name. Whereas, 8.28 percent people said Arvind Kejriwal is right for the post of PM. In Tamil Nadu, 29.56 percent people said Modi was the first choice for the post of PM. Here 24.65 percent people said Rahul Gandhi and 5.23 percent people said Mamata Banerjee as their choice of the post.
In Puducherry, 49.69 per cent people expressed support in favor of Modi. At the same time, 11.8 percent favored Congress and 3.22 percent favored Rahul Gandhi. In West Bengal, 42.37 percent people said Modi was the first choice for the post of PM. 26.08 per cent supported Mamata Banerjee. Whereas, for Rahul Gandhi, only 14.4 per cent people said that he should become the PM. If these results of the survey are combined, 49.91 percent of the people in all these states and union territories preferred PM Modi as the Prime Minister. Whereas, Rahul Gandhi was voted 10.1, Arvind Kejriwal 7.62, Mamta Banerjee 3.23 and other leaders 5.46 percent people preferred for the post of PM.
