Milk selling company Mother Dare has launched buffalo milk in the Delhi NCR market. Currently it will be sold by the company in the markets of Delhi-NCR. The company aims to create a brand worth Rs 500 crore by March next year through this variant.
Mother Dairy is a dairy company that sells milk and dairy products across the country including Delhi NCR. The company sells 35 to 36 lakh liters per day in Delhi NCR alone. At the national level, this figure is 45 to 47 lakh liters per day.
Speaking to news agency PTI, Manish Bandlish, Managing Director of Mother Dairy, said that we are launching buffalo milk at Rs 70 per liter. We will currently sell it in Delhi NCR.
When will the sale take place?
According to the information given by the company, Mother Dairy is supplying 50,000 to 75,000 liters of buffalo milk per day in Delhi NCR. Bandlish said that the company aims to supply 2 lakh liters of milk by March 2025. At present the demand for high-fat milk is increasing. Our target is to make buffalo milk variants a brand worth Rs 500 crore in a year. In the coming time, it will be launched by the company in Uttar Pradesh, Haryana and Maharashtra.
Mother Dairy was established in 1974. Mother Dairy is a subsidiary of National Dairy Development Board (NDDB). The company’s turnover in the last financial year was Rs 14,500 crore, of which Rs 11,500 crore was from dairy business alone. The company also has an expanding portfolio with products including edible oils under the ‘Dhara’ brand and fresh fruits and vegetables, frozen vegetables and snacks, unpolished pulses, pulps and concentrates under the ‘Safal’ brand.
