A special saree made in Surat city of Gujarat, which is known as the textile hub of the country, will be sent for the consecration ceremony of Ram temple in Ayodhya on January 22. Lalit Sharma, a businessman associated with the textile industry in Surat, said that the saree has pictures of Lord Ram and Ayodhya temple engraved on it and it has been prepared for Lord Ram’s wife Sita and it was offered at a temple here on Sunday. Textile businessman Rakesh Jain, who prepared the saree in consultation with Sharma, said that this cloth has been made for Mata Janaki and it will be sent to the temple in Ayodhya city of Uttar Pradesh.
Special saree will be sent from Gujarat
Sharma did not mention any date for sending the saree but said it would reach Ayodhya before January 22. He said, “There is an atmosphere of happiness all over the world as Lord Ram is being consecrated in the Ayodhya temple after many years. Mata Janaki and Lord Hanuman are the happiest.” Sharma said, “Sharing their happiness, we have prepared a special saree on which pictures of Lord Ram and Ayodhya temple are engraved. This saree will be sent to the Ram temple in Ayodhya. Sharma said that if he gets any request, he will send this saree free of cost to all the temples of Lord Ram where Mata Janaki is also present.
Consecration on 22 January
