MP Art and Culture: Bhopal (Navduniya representative). Before Holi, four cities of the state including Bhopal-Indore are going to be musical. Under the joint aegis of Madhya Pradesh Tourism and Culture Department, the fifth edition of ‘Hriday Drishyam’ music festival is being organized from March 12 to 15. The ceremony will be inaugurated in Bhopal. Principal Secretary Tourism and Culture Shivshekhar Shukla on Friday inaugurated Kushabhau Thackeray International Talking to reporters in the auditorium, it was told that in the four-day festival, along with the famous artists of the country, foreign artists will also give musical performances. In this, art lovers will get an opportunity to enjoy the productions according to their interest.
This festival has been organized every year only in Bhopal to showcase and collect national and international musical art. Keeping in view the popularity of the function and its trend towards the people, this year presentations will be organized in Bhopal as well as Indore, archaeological site Bateshwar district Morena and tourist place Mandu district Dhar. Additional Managing Director Tourism Board Shilpa Gupta and Director Culture Aditi Kumar Tripathi were present on this occasion.
Two day event in Bhopal
The music festival will be inaugurated on March 12 at 4.45 pm at Kushabhau Thackeray Auditorium. Along with this, presentations will also be made at Bharat Bhawan, Rabindra Bhavan, Tribal Museum and Drive-in Cinema Complex (Hotel Lake View). On the first day of the ceremony, there will be a sarod recital by renowned artist Aman Ali Bangash at 5 pm at Kushabhau Thackeray International Auditorium, Spanish folk music by Almudena (Spain) at 6.45 pm. On the same day Sitar playing by Poorvayan Chatterjee at Bharat Bhavan from 6.45 PM, Kabir Singing and Sufi Music by Padma Shri Dr. Bharti Bandhu from 8 PM at Rabindra Bhavan and Pop Rock by Pop Singer Shefali at Drive-in-Cinema at 9 PM at Drive-in-Cinema Music will be presented.
During the ceremony, a Zardozi Pattern Design Competition is being organized at Kushabhau Thackeray Auditorium from 3 pm onwards. In this, the participants will upload their pattern design through Google Form. The student making excellent pattern design will be honored at the Tribal Museum on March 13, 2022. Along with this, on March 12 and 13, an exhibition of Gond art, jewelery and decorative handicraft products made of jute by local artisans will be organized in the Ravindra Bhawan premises from 5 to 8 pm. The next day of the function, on March 13, at 5.30 pm, there will be a presentation by Vijay Ghate at the Tribal Museum. On the same day, Santoor player Rahul Sharma will be presented at Bharat Bhavan at 6.45 pm, Fusion Music by Matteo Fraboni (Italy) along with Padma Shri Soma Ghosh and Joe Alvares at 8 pm at Ravindra Bhavan. Ethnic music by Lairn Mayhews (Israel) and performances by Dhruva Band at the Drive In Cinema at 8:30 pm.
Santoor and sitar playing at Rabindra Natya Griha, Indore
In the function, Santoor by Rahul Sharma and sitar performance by Poorvayan Chatterjee will be presented at Rabindra Natya Griha, Indore on 14th at 6.30 pm. Spanish Folk Music in the Bateshwar Temple Complex In the famous Bateshwar Temple Complex of Morena, Spanish Folk Music by Almudena (Spain) will be played on 14th March at 6 PM and Sarod and Tabla by Aman Ali Bangash. An exhibition will also be organized in Bateshwar.
Ethnic music and flute playing in Mandu
On the last day of the ceremony, from 6 pm in Mandu, Lyran Mayuhas (Israel) will dance to the tunes of ethnic music in the Asharfi palace complex. It will also be accompanied by flute playing by artist Rakesh Chaurasia and percussion by Matteo Fraboni (Italy).
