Chatra: Before the Lok Sabha elections in Jharkhand, Muslim organizations in Chatra have given a big blow to the Grand Alliance. According to reports, Muslim organizations have announced boycott of Grand Alliance candidate KN Tripathi in the Lok Sabha elections. This announcement has created a stir in the Grand Alliance and the Congress. Muslims hurriedly called a meeting on Saturday, in which it was decided to boycott the Grand Alliance and the Congress. It is generally believed that most of the Muslim voters give preference to its opposition parties over BJP, hence this is being considered a big blow to the Grand Alliance.
Why do Muslims object to the name of KN Tripathi?
Let us tell you that Grand Alliance and Congress have jointly fielded KN Tripathi on this seat. The only objection of the Muslims here is that despite being a Muslim majority area, a bet was made on KN Tripathi by not fielding any Muslim candidate, hence the Muslim intellectuals hastily called a meeting and announced boycott of the Grand Alliance and Congress candidates. Did. During the meeting, the intellectuals said that the Congress Party should stop making the mistake of considering the Muslims of Chatra as their property. He said that now Muslims have completely awakened.
‘We are not just Muslims who spread carpets’
Muslim intellectuals said that under any circumstances, the candidates of Congress Party and Grand Alliance will not be able to take the votes of Muslims by showing fear of Bharatiya Janata Party. He said, ‘We are not just Muslims who spread carpets. Our population in Jharkhand is second only to tribals. We have represented Godda and Dhanbad and other Lok Sabha constituencies many times with 20 percent population. Despite this, the Grand Alliance did not make a Muslim candidate on even one of the 14 seats, this is unfortunate. Now it remains to be seen whether the leaders of the Grand Alliance are able to remove the resentment of Muslim organizations before the Lok Sabha elections or not. (IANS)
