The troubles of MP Navneet Rana and her husband Ravi Rana, who were recently released from jail on bail, may increase once again. The Maharashtra government is contemplating challenging the bail granted to the Rana couple. In fact, MP Navneet Rana, who went to jail for announcing Hanuman Chalisa outside Maharashtra CM Uddhav Thackeray’s house, has once again attacked Shiv Sena after coming out on bail. On leaving the hospital on Sunday, she said that it was a religious fight and she would continue it. Along with this, he also challenged CM Uddhav Thackeray to contest the election against him. On coming out of jail, he complained of chest pain and high blood pressure, after which he was admitted to the hospital.
The sessions court had also put some conditions while granting bail to the Rana couple. One of these conditions was that he would not go out and talk to the media in this matter. But now after Navneet Rana talking to the media and giving a direct challenge to Uddhav Thackeray, the Maharashtra government is considering filing an appeal against his bail. On behalf of the Maharashtra government, it can be argued in the court that Navneet Rana and her husband have violated the condition of the court and violated it. In such a situation, his bail should be canceled and he should be sent to jail again.
What condition did the court place with the bail
While granting bail to the Rana couple, the court had said, “There will be a condition before the accused that they will not talk about Hanuman Chalisa controversy after coming out of jail.” Even after this condition, Navneet Rana said, ‘I challenge Uddhav Thackeray to contest against me from any constituency if he wants. I will fight the election against you and show what a woman’s power is. Navneet Rana said that I want to ask the Uddhav government what was the mistake I did, for which I have been punished. I want to ask is it a crime to read Hanuman Chalisa. If there is a crime then I am ready to go to jail not for 14 days but for 14 years.
Why was she admitted to the hospital as soon as she came out of jail?
It is worth noting that soon after his release from Byculla Jail, Navneet Rana was admitted to the hospital. He had complained that he had pain in his body and chest. Apart from this, the blood pressure is also increased. Earlier, his lawyers had told the court that his health was bad and permission was not being given even for his check-up. If their health deteriorates, then the state government will be responsible for it.
