New Delhi. Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) Rajya Sabha MP Swati Maliwal on Friday expressed her disappointment with Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal. Maliwal said that he did not take the right stand on the allegations of assault against his colleague Bibhav Kumar. Talking to news agency ANI, Maliwal said, “I am very sad because Arvind Kejriwal, who expresses his views on every issue, did not consider it necessary to support me, take a stand for me or solve my issue.” Maliwal said that she and her family are in trouble.
Swati Maliwal said that ‘I have been working with passion, selflessness and honesty since 2006 without any position or reputation.’ Maliwal recalled the incident in which she claimed that she was “severely beaten” in Kejriwal’s drawing room. She said that ‘Arvind Kejriwal did not come. No one came to save me.’ Maliwal also said that an attempt was made to wrongly convict her in the out-of-court hearing.
Swati Maliwal said that till date he has neither called me nor come to meet me nor has he helped me anywhere. The entire party and he are standing with Bibhav Kumar at this time. In such a situation, I am very sad because Arvind Kejriwal, who has his opinion on every issue, did not consider it necessary to support me on my issue, take a stand for me or talk on my issue.
