New Labor Code: If the new labor code is implemented, these six big changes will be seen including holidays for three days in a week.

The government is going to make changes in the labor laws of the country. According to reports, the Modi government may implement the new labor code from July 1. However, till now no notification has been issued by the government in this regard. Often when new laws are implemented, information related to it comes out from the government at least 15 days in advance. But, in the case of the new labor code, this has not happened so far.

The new labor codes are being seen as a major reform in labor laws. There are also reports that in the new labor code, the government is once again preparing to change the salary structure.

If the new labor code is implemented for the employed people from July 1, then many of the existing rules will change. Let us have a look at those 6 things that will be seen after the implementation of the new labor codes-

1. After retirement you will get big amount

After the implementation of the new labor code from July 1, more amount will start accumulating in the PF and gratuity of the workers, due to which they will get a huge amount after retirement. At the same time, allowances will be reduced in the gross salary. In the new labor code, the basic salary and allowances will be in the ratio of 50-50.

2. Three holidays a week

Companies may have to increase the weekly holidays to two to three days. In fact, in the new labor code, provision can be made to take maximum 48 hours of work in a week.

3. Work will have to be done for 12 hours, not eight

After the implementation of the new labor code, the working hours are going to increase. If there are three days off in a week, then obviously the working hours will increase from 8 to at least 12 hours in the remaining four days.

4. Full and Final Settlement in Two Days

With the implementation of the new labor code, companies will have to make full settlement of employees in two days after leaving the job. The worker will also get full money within two days of leaving the job. Currently, this process takes 30 to 60 days.

5. Salary coming into account will decrease

With the implementation of the new labor code, where on one hand the contribution of the worker in PF and gratuity will increase due to increase in basic salary, on the other hand his in hand salary or take home salary will decrease. Because, the allowances received by the employees will be cut.

6. Gig workers can get social security

There are four types of provisions in the new labor code, in which there are provisions related to wages, social security, business relations and occupational safety. With their implementation, the anomalies of the current labor law will be removed. This will benefit the workers. Benefits to gig workers can also increase.
