The implementation of the new labor code will change the work culture across the country. Due to the new policy, the office will have to work for 9 hours every day instead of 8. However, the working days in front of it will be reduced from 6 to 5. Apart from this, no company will be able to get its employee to work continuously for more than 5 hours. The employee will have to take a break after every 5 hours. Failure to comply with these rules may result in action being taken against the company. However, if an employee chooses to work 12 hours a day instead of 9 hours a day, he will have to work only four days a week. That means he will get three days off in a week.
In addition to working hours, the rules for overtime will also be changed. From now on, if the work increases for 15 to 30 minutes after the completion of the time, then the employee will have to give half an hour’s overtime. At present, if an employee works overtime for less than 30 minutes, he is not paid any compensation. Tell that this bill was introduced in Parliament in September of the year 2020.
