This time around, this new Alto has been seen standing alongside Hyundai’s i10. The picture shows that the Alto 2022 will be bigger in size than the Hyundai i10. There is a lot of enthusiasm among the people for this next-gen Alto 2022.
Design and Features
A glimpse of the next-gen Alto 2022 shows that it has received several major changes. With the tall-boy hatchback look, it looks bigger, longer and wider than the old model. According to a report, the new Alto 2022 could be based on the company’s lightweight HEARTECT platform. Big and bold grille and bumpers have been used in this hatchback by the company. The honeycomb mesh pattern front grille used will give a stylish look to the car. Along with this, the new Alto 2022 gets sweptback headlamps, sculpted hood, C-shaped fog lamps, new and larger cabin, touchscreen infotainment system with smartphone connectivity, semi-digital instrument console, keyless entry, engine start/stop button, LED DRLs. And many other great features can also be seen.

In the new Alto 2022, 1 liter petrol engine can be used by the company. With this, the option of manual transmission will be available. According to a report, the company can also offer a CNG engine option of this car.

How long can it give a knock in the market?
The company has not yet given any official information about the launch of the next-generation Alto 2022. However, according to a report, this new hatchback can knock in the Indian market by mid 2022.
