PM Modi shared a video from his Twitter handle on Friday. He said, ‘The new Parliament House will make every Indian proud. This video provides a glimpse of this iconic building. I have a special request. Share this video with your own voice (voiceover) that expresses your thoughts. I will retweet some of them. “Don’t forget to use the hashtag My Parliament My Pride,” he added.
What is the programme?
The new Parliament House will be inaugurated on Sunday. The celebrations will begin early in the morning with a havan and inter-faith prayer. After this, Prime Minister Modi will formally inaugurate the Lok Sabha. 25 teams are expected to attend the opening ceremony. In contrast, 20 opposition parties have decided to boycott the programme.
Why would the opposition be confused?
The PM has connected the entire country with the inauguration ceremony of the new Parliament. It is certain that after PM Modi’s appeal, a large number of people will also share it. However, in the parliament in which these 20 opposition parties also have to sit, there will definitely be confusion for them. These teams must be confused that they are completely out of such a big event. Will he be able to satisfy the young generation with his answer after a few years from now? Will he say that he boycotted only because the head of the country had inaugurated the Parliament?
