But a new instruction related to this has come out from the Delhi government. Actually, the Delhi government has decided to ban the bike taxi service of Ola, Uber and Rapido.
Why is this ban being imposed?
According to the information received, the government says that according to the Delhi Transport Department, all these companies are using private bikes for the passengers. This is a violation of the Motor Vehicles Act, 1988. In such a situation, service of bike taxi cannot be allowed due to violation of rules.
Delhi government also issued notice
The Delhi government has also issued a notice in this regard. Apart from the fine, the license of the driver will also be canceled for 3 months. According to the issued notice, if someone makes a mistake for the first time, then he can be fined Rs 5,000, for the second mistake, a fine of Rs 10,000 and a jail term of up to 1 year.
