Dhar (New Zealand Representative). Efforts to make the historical fort of Dhar a beautiful and tourist center through the Department of Archeology will now be done through Tourism Development Corporation. In fact, at a cost of about Rs 11 crore, a large-scale project was made to work from the outer to the inside of the fort. For this, a detailed plan has been prepared through the engineer. From Kharbooja Mahal to the improvement and beautification of other buildings, the process will start soon in the direction of making a better tourist center.
It is worth noting that a huge amount was about to be received through the Department of Archeology regarding the historical fort of Dhar. For this, a special plan was prepared in front of the Principal Secretary of the Archaeological Department, Dhar Archaeological Department, district administration and engineer and architectural expert Vallabh Agrawal through his co-operative team Gharnid Aggarwal and Prashish Aggarwal. In fact, it has been presented twice in Bhopal. Everyone appreciated it a lot. This plan of the fort was prepared on a large scale. A new twist has come in this that the way the Archaeological Department has taken the initiative to start work on the fort of Rana Bakhtawar Singhji in Amjhera through Tourism Development Corporation, similarly efforts will be made for the fort of Dhar. According to departmental sources, the amount has not been approved yet, but if this work is started further through Tourism Development Corporation, then surely the amount will also be approved. 11 crores will bring back the fort to its ancient splendor. In this, the fort will be developed as a tourist center. Let us tell you that there is also an Archaeological Museum here, which is one of the oldest museums in Madhya Pradesh. It was established during the British rule. This archeological museum holds its importance as well as being very ancient. Many important statues and heritage sites of archaeological importance have been preserved in it. In this way, if the work of this fort is done, then it will definitely develop into an important tourist center.
Engineer and Vastu expert Vallabh Aggarwal told that after the work of the fort is done, thousands of people will reach for darshan. Along with this, you will also be able to see the oldest museum of the state here. If an amount of Rs 11 crore is spent and a better center can be developed from that. It will not only be the pride of the district but of the state. People will be able to take advantage of tourism but also get to know about their glorious history.
