New Delhi (NEET 2024 UG Controversy). NTA i.e. National Testing Agency is in the news. Lakhs of posts related to it can be seen on social media. Meanwhile, people have created many social media accounts in the name of NTA and NEET. Let us tell you that this matter is being investigated since the NEET UG paper was leaked on 05 May. Meanwhile, UGC NET and NEET PG exams were also postponed and NTA chief Subodh Kumar Singh was removed from his post and Pradeep Singh Kharola was made DG.
More than 7 lakh users are following the NTA account on social media site X (formerly Twitter). Since the NEET UG paper leak controversy, NTA has had to give a lot of clarification on every matter. Some time ago, the National Testing Agency clarified to social media users through its official account that they should follow only the real account of NTA (NTA Official X Account). NTA advised people to stay away from fake accounts.
Which is the real social media account of NTA?
Sometimes it becomes difficult to differentiate between real and fake accounts on social media. People start following fake accounts thinking they are real. Then they consider the content posted on them to be true. But many times such fake accounts are also used to spread fake news. The National Testing Agency (NTA) has clarified that its real account handle is @NTA_Exams (formerly Twitter).

Stay away from fake accounts
Along with this, NTA has also given information about the fake account created in its name. Someone has created a fake account with the user profile Neet mitra (@DG_NTA) using the name of National Testing Agency. The number of followers on it is less but a lot is being posted against NTA. In such a situation, people should know whether they are following the real account or are getting confused by following the fake one.
