Ola Electric forayed into this segment in India last year with its electric scooter. Whose company has started deliveries from December, but Ola customers are not happy to get the scooter. Recently, S1 buyers have been informed that the production of the S1 scooter has been put on hold till the end of 2022. Ola Electric has said that it will prioritize the production of the S1 Pro as most of the customers have opted for the top variant i.e. the S1 Pro.
That is, those who have booked the base-spec S1 can opt for the upgrade option. This can be done when the final payment window opens on the Ola app on January 21 at 6 pm. Let us tell you, the company will start the delivery of the scooter in January and February. Customers may have to wait for 10-20 days post dispatch for home delivery of their scooter, depending on the customer’s city and RTO requirements.
angry customer
Several S1 customers have shared their reaction on social channels, apparently angry, calling it a biased attitude of the company. Had there been a delay in the production of all the variants, things would have been different. But when a particular variant is being preferred over another, it is naturally being opposed by the buyers.

Some customers are also saying that they are being compulsorily forced to upgrade to the S1 Pro. This may not be possible for everyone, as it requires an additional payment of around Rs 30k. At the moment, it remains to be seen how Ola Electric responds to such complaints, as the company had earlier at times in the past, had to change their decisions based on consumer feedback.
