Ola, which launched the electric scooter on August 15 this year, plans to set up a factory with 10,000 women employees for manufacturing. Its operation will be completely in the hands of women. Ola says that self-reliant India needs self-reliant women.
Ola CEO Bhavish Aggarwal said in a tweet, “Today I am proud to announce that Ola Future Factory will be run entirely by women. Welcome to the first production of this workforce. I am proud to announce Ola Women Only Factory. Proud to announce it.” It is worth mentioning that Ola has launched two electric scooters Ola S1 and Ola S1 Pro. The ex-showroom price of Ola S1 is Rs 99,999 and the price of Ola S1 Pro is Rs 1,29,999.
