Pooja defeated Ichrak 5-0 in the pre-quarterfinal match to take one step further towards the medals. With this, the hope of bringing medals from worship to the country has increased.
Two-time Asian Championship gold medalist Pooja performed well in all three rounds. The five judges gave him a full 10 points in all three rounds, while Ichrak left the second round with nine points in the other two rounds and eight in the second.
