New Delhi. Saturday (30 December) was a historic day for Ayodhya. Prime Minister Narendra Modi inaugurated the redeveloped Ayodhya railway station and the newly constructed Ayodhya Maharishi Valmiki Airport. He gifted projects worth about Rs 1450 crore to the city of Lord Ram. After this he also addressed a public meeting. During his address he urged people not to visit Ayodhya Ram temple without invitation on January 22 and stressed that they have waited for more than 550 years, and it is necessary to have a little more patience. So that arrangements are maintained. He also appealed that people across the country should celebrate January 22 like Diwali, it is like Lord Ram’s homecoming.
Everyone wants to be a part of the ceremony but it is not possible.
While addressing the public meeting in Ayodhya, Prime Minister Narendra Modi said, “I can understand very well that everyone wants to be a part of the celebrations of January 22 in Ayodhya, but it may not be possible for everyone. Therefore, I appeal to all the devotees of Lord Ram to avoid coming to Ayodhya during Pran Pratishtha and celebrate Diwali by staying in their homes, celebrate the Pran Pratishtha program of Lord Shri Ram in their homes.”

Highlighting the meticulous planning behind the grand event, Modi assured that there should be no disruption. He said, “This festival has been celebrated for years, and there should be no controversy in it. Don’t gather here unnecessarily because the temple is going nowhere; It will stand for centuries. Only a select few have been invited, and those coming to Ayodhya should be invited. It will be more convenient to travel after the 23rd.”
Celebrate Diwali by staying at home and lighting lamps.
During the public meeting, PM Modi once again made a strong appeal to the people of the country and said that it would be great to celebrate this occasion by lighting lamps in their homes. He said, “This historic moment has fortunately come into the lives of all of us. On this occasion, all 1.4 billion countrymen should light divine lamps in their homes on 22 January and celebrate like Diwali.
Take a pledge to make Ayodhya clean.
During the public meeting, PM Modi also stressed on the cleanliness of Ayodhya. He urged the residents of Ayodhya during the program to work towards making the city clean and ready to host lakhs of visitors.
