New Delhi. The central government has today announced the withdrawal of agricultural laws. At the same time, this issue remains a matter of discussion in the political corridor. Every party has its own opinion on this issue. Some are calling it the victory of farmers and some are calling it the election bet of the government. Meanwhile, former Jammu and Kashmir Chief Minister and PDP President Mehbooba Mufti has reacted on this matter.
Government’s decision electoral compulsion
Mehbooba Mufti said that the arrogant government finally gave in to the insistence of the farmers. This decision of the government is certainly welcome, but this move of the government seems more like an electoral compulsion. He said that the government is afraid that due to the farmers’ agitation, it may not face defeat in the upcoming elections, due to which the government has taken this step.
Along with this, the former CM has once again raised the demand for restoration of Article 370 in Kashmir on social media. He said that the government should reinstate 370 like agricultural laws. Mehbooba Mufti said that its power was taken away from Jammu and Kashmir only to please its voters. I hope the government will now rectify the mistake made in Kashmir.
