Although Prime Minister Narendra Modi has cordial relations with all the leaders, but from the election campaign to the swearing-in, there are three leaders with whom his chemistry is tremendous. These three come from different corners of the country. The social and educational background of all three is different and the political journey of all three is also different. But their jugalbandi with Prime Minister Narendra Modi is tremendous. One of them is from Bihar, the other is from Andhra Pradesh and both of them are not in BJP. While the third comes from Tamil Nadu and is a member of BJP.
First of all, let’s talk about PM Modi’s Hanuman ‘Chirag Paswan’. What PM Modi said in praise of Chirag Paswan in front of everyone in the Hajipur rally on May 13, Chirag probably would not have expected that. Modi said that “I am sorry, I talk to Chirag in a rude manner because I consider him like my son.” Chirag was overwhelmed and immediately stood up and bowed to Modi. Modi did not stop here, he further said – “I do not say such things publicly, but I will say here that my love for Chirag is because when Chirag came to the Parliament for the first time, I only knew that he is Ram Vilas ji’s son. I had seen that there was no pride of being Ram Vilas ji’s son in his behavior and this is a big thing. I give all the credit for this to his mother.”
PM Modi looked at Chirag Paswan’s mother and said, “You have given him such values that there is no trace of pride left in him.”
Similarly, while approving Rajnath Singh’s proposal to elect Narendra Modi as the leader of the NDA parliamentary party in the Central Hall of the old Parliament House, Chirag Paswan said, “Whenever we used to go to the area, the kind of enthusiasm we saw on your name was a matter of pride for us. We can say that we have such a leader in whom the public has faith.”
When Chirag Paswan reached Prime Minister Modi after the speech, according to Chirag, the Prime Minister said, “You spoke very well, son”. Chirag’s political journey so far has been full of ups and downs. Be it the disappointment in the Bihar assembly elections in 2020 or the split in the party after a dispute with his uncle. Whatever Chirag’s relations with the NDA, Chirag Paswan’s respect and devotion towards Prime Minister Modi always remained. Modi also protected Chirag on every important occasion and that is why despite the huge age gap, the jugalbandi of the two looks great.
The second leader with whom the Prime Minister’s chemistry looks “powerful” is Power Star Pawan Kalyan. The best example of this is when Prime Minister Narendra Modi introduced Pawan Kalyan in the NDA meeting inside the Parliament House. While giving a speech, Narendra Modi pointed towards Pawan and said, “This is not Pawan, but a storm.” Superstar Pawan Kalyan, one of the most selling stars in Telugu cinema, is the president of the Janasena Party. Pawan Kalyan’s strike rate in the 2024 elections is 100 percent. The party fielded candidates on 21 assembly and two Lok Sabha seats and won all the elections. What Pawan Kalyan said while praising Prime Minister Narendra Modi in the meeting of NDA constituents in Delhi is going viral on social media. Pawan Kalyan said, “Modiji, you have really inspired the country. Modiji, as long as you are the Prime Minister of this country, our country will never bow down to anyone.”
The third leader in the south is Tamil Nadu BJP president K. Annamalai. BJP could not win even a single seat in Tamil Nadu but patting the Tamil BJP on the back in the NDA parliamentary party meeting, Prime Minister Modi said, “I want to congratulate the Tamil Nadu team. Many thought that they would not be able to win from there but they worked hard to keep the flag flying high. Even though they could not win a seat in Tamil Nadu, the way the vote share has increased is giving a clear message about what is written in tomorrow.”
Tamil Nadu BJP President Kuppusamy Annamalai has a tremendous background. Annamalai studied engineering from Coimbatore and after that went to Indian Institute of Management Lucknow to do MBA. He gave the civil services exam and was selected in the Indian Police Service. At the age of just 36, BJP surprised everyone by making Annamalai the state president of the party in 2021. Annamalai’s aggressive campaigning and strategy to increase the BJP’s base increased the party’s vote percentage significantly, especially among the youth, Annamalai’s tremendous craze was seen. The facts are also saying the same because the vote share of BJP in Tamil Nadu has reached 11.24%, which was only 3.6% in the last Lok Sabha elections. Anyway, in all the rallies that Prime Minister Modi has done with Annamalai, from the body language of both of them, you will easily guess how much Annamalai is dear to Modi. Praising Annamalai in an interview, Modi said that “he has left his job as an IPS and has come into politics. If Annamalai wanted to achieve something, he would have joined DMK or AIADMK, but he joined BJP for the welfare of the country.”
These are the three leaders with whom Prime Minister Modi had a great chemistry throughout the Lok Sabha elections, which seems to be continuing even after the formation of the government. All three are young, popular and are leaders full of immense potential and energy.
