New Delhi. Nitish Kumar, the Chief Minister of Bihar and the biggest leader of JDU, is meeting the leaders of the opposition by roaming around. After coming to Delhi, he met Congress leader Rahul Gandhi, NCP chief Sharad Yadav and SP president Akhilesh Yadav. Nitish also went to the hospital to know the well being of SP’s patron and strongman Mulayam Singh Yadav. Akhilesh and Nitish met on Tuesday. Just a day after that, Akhilesh said such a thing, which is raising the question whether the SP chief has refused to accept Nitish as the only leader of opposition unity?
The reason for this question being raised is Akhilesh’s interview given to a TV channel. In this interview, Akhilesh Yadav was asked about Nitish Kumar, how does he judge the CM of Bihar? On this, Akhilesh praised Nitish, but at the same time West Bengal CM Mamta Banerjee and Telangana CM K. Chandrashekhar Rao’s name was also taken. Akhilesh said that Nitish Kumar has worked in Bihar for many years. Only after this he said that Telangana CM K. Chandrashekhar Rao has also done a great job. After this Akhilesh also took the name of Mamta and said that Mamta has done a great job for daughters and women. Even the central government could not do such work. When asked which one leader would you name? Akhilesh made it clear that he will not take anyone’s name now.

Let us tell you that Mamata Banerjee’s party TMC has already made it clear that she is not thinking anything about opposition unity right now. TMC spokesperson Sukhendu Shekhar Ray had told the media recently that Mamata wants all opposition parties to fight the BJP in their respective areas of influence. Mamta Banerjee will take a decision about the alliance in view of the seats that the opposition parties will get after the 2024 Lok Sabha elections.
