Srinagar. A joint team of security forces has arrested a Hizbul Mujahideen (HM) terrorist from Kachri village of Handwara in North Kashmir. The terrorist was reportedly assigned the task of target killing in the area. A Chinese pistol and a grenade were also recovered from his possession. Further investigation is underway.
Addressing a press conference, Handwara SSP Dawood Ayub said that acting on specific information, a joint team of security forces, including Army’s 30RR (Rashtriya Rifles) and police, launched an operation during which the terrorist was arrested.
