Pakistani expert Hamid Basani says, ‘If India is building a parliament at a cost of $2.5 billion, it is very interesting because $2.5 billion has become a bone of contention for Pakistan. For the last 6 months, the IMF has hanged Pakistan on the wall by holding its neck. 6 months have passed but it is not decided whether it will be available or not. He said that if India is making a building then the reason behind it is its progress. A Pakistani even said that India’s economy is strong. India has money so they are using it.
Pakistan reached the brink of default
The common Pakistani citizen said in a YouTube interview that you know Pakistan has been holding the bowl for 70 years unlike India. Some Pakistanis said that today India has progressed to become the fifth largest economy in the world. They are saying that there is a need to learn from India. Pakistanis are shedding tears over their plight at a time when their country is begging for a loan from the IMF. Even after asking for loan many times, Pakistan has not received even a single penny from the IMF.
If Pakistan does not get loan from any country till June, then it can default. Pakistan also has to repay the debt of several billion dollars, but the foreign exchange reserves with it are only around 4 billion dollars. On the other hand, if we talk about India, then 971 crore rupees have been spent in the construction of this Parliament House itself. 26,045 metric tonnes of steel, 63,807 metric tonnes of cement and 9,689 cubic meters of fly ash have been used in the building of Parliament House. There a total of 23,04,095 working days were generated. 888 members of the Lok Sabha and 300 members of the Rajya Sabha will be able to sit inside this new parliament.
