New Delhi. Japanese car maker Nissan has registered a record pre-booking for the new 4-seater SUV Magnite launched in the Indian market last year. Nissan India recently informed that the company has pre-booked more than 72,000 units of this SUV since the launch of Magnite. With this, the Magnite has become one of the most booked vehicles by Nissan in India so far.
So far 30,000 magnets have been delivered
Since launch, the company has delivered a total of 30,000 Magnit SUVs. Guillaume Cartier, President of Nissan AMIEO for India, Africa, Middle East, Europe and Oceania, recently delivered the car by handing over the keys of the 30,000th Nissan Magnite to a customer at a dealership event in Gurgaon during his India visit.

Design and Features
The Nissan Magnite is available in 5 trim levels XE, XL, XV, XV Premium and XV Premium (O). With a sleek design, the SUV gets LED bi-projector headlamps with LED DRLs, faux skid plates, electrically adjustable and foldable wing mirrors, 16-inch diamond cut alloy wheels. Along with this, features like Apple CarPlay, Android Auto, 8-inch touchscreen infotainment system, voice recognition tech, anti-lock braking system, automatic climate control, driver and passenger airbags are also available in this SUV.
Engine and gearbox
The Nissan Magnite is available in two engine options – 1 liter NA petrol and 1 liter turbocharged petrol variants, producing 98.63bhp power and 152Nm torque. Also, a 5-speed gearbox has been given with automatic transmission.
