The cleanliness system in the city is deteriorating day by day, that too when the inspection is being done by the divisional team regarding the cleanliness survey. The condition is that on the main roads, where there are piles of dirt everywhere, on the other hand the accessible complexes are full of dirt. Because of this pedestrians are not able to use it. Various programs are being conducted by the Central and State Governments for cleanliness campaign. But no effect of this is visible in Daboh Municipal Council. After cleaning the roads from the main roads of the city to the streets, localities, the sanitation workers pile up the garbage on the road itself. At the same time, the garbage heap is not lifted for three to four days. In such a situation, the cattle spread the waste all over the road. At the same time, near the new vegetable market, a few years ago, NAP had constructed a Sulabh complex here for the convenience of the passers-by and shopkeepers. But no attention was paid to the cleanliness of this complex. Because of this presently the complex is full of filth. And people are not able to use it. NP officials say that this problem arose due to non-availability of water in the Sulabh complex. But now the water problem has been solved. Once the borewell starts, it will be cleaned.
There are piles of dirt on these main roads:
These days there are heaps of dirt on Bhind-Bhander road, dividers built in the market, Koch road, Chowk Mohalla and other places. The garbage lying at these places has not been lifted for the last five days. Because of this, garbage is seen scattered all over the road. On one hand, many schemes are being run in the name of cleanliness. But the impact of these schemes is not visible on the officers and employees.
Lock on the gate of Sulabh Complex for one and a half year, waiting for launch
The gate of Sulabh Complex in Ward I has been locked for one and a half years. But due to its not being launched till date, people are not able to use it. Due to not giving time for its launch by the chief guests, it could not start till now. Although the demand for starting the closed complex has been made by the local people to the NAP officials, but even after this no hearing is being held.
The gate of the Sulabh complex has been locked since the construction. NP officials say that this has to be started. But it does not tell when it will be launched and who will do it.
Pancham Singh, Resident Ward One
-At present the Sulabh complex is being used to harbor domesticated cattle. In the evening, some pastoralists lock their cattle in the Sulabh Complex premises.
