New York Post Report According to , getting angry after a stressful experience can temporarily impair the ability of your blood vessels to relax. Proper blood flow in the body also occurs through blood vessels. When there is a problem in these vessels, then the blood flow starts getting obstructed and the condition of heart attack or stroke can arise. The researchers evaluated the cells lining the blood vessels of the people involved in this study before and after getting angry. On the basis of this data the researchers have concluded the study.
Researchers found in the study that remembering an angry incident worsens the dilation of blood vessels for up to 40 minutes, which can increase blood pressure. Dr. Daichi Shimbo, professor of medicine at Irving Medical Center of Columbia University in Washington, USA and lead author of the study, says that we observed that creating a state of anger caused relaxation of the blood vessels, although we could not understand yet. What could be the reason for these changes. Studies have shown that mental health can affect a person’s risk factors for heart disease and stroke.
American Heart Association (AHA) According to the US, someone has a heart attack every 40 seconds and an American dies of heart disease every 33 seconds. The AHA also reports that every 40 seconds a person in the United States suffers a stroke and every 3 minutes 14 seconds an American dies from it.
