New Delhi. Congress President Mallikarjun Kharge, while addressing a public meeting in Aurangabad, Bihar on Thursday, once again attacked the Central Government and said that the upcoming Lok Sabha elections will be the last elections. He accused the BJP-led central government of authoritarianism and claimed that such a regime is currently running. During Congress’ ‘Bharat Jodo Nyay Yatra’, Kharge said, “These people (BJP) neither respect the Constitution nor democracy; They only want dictatorship and autocracy in this country, which Modi ji is implementing today.”
Kharge further warned, ‘Unless we become stronger, I want to say especially to the poor, the Dalits, the marginalised, the minorities and all the deprived communities… It seems that Modi will hold these last elections and After that there will be victory. There will be no democracy, there will be no constitution and democracy will not survive.” Earlier on January 29, while addressing Congress workers in Bhubaneswar, Odisha, Kharge had said that ‘If Narendra Modi wins another election, there will be dictatorship in the country.’ Kharge also accused BJP of being involved in horse-trading. Accused and alleged that around 500 MLAs have been bought in the last 10 years.
