Prime Minister Narendra Modi has again left behind US President Joe Biden and Russian President Vladimir Putin in terms of popularity. The UK Market Research Company has come out with the list of Most Admired Person of the year 2021, in which Narendra Modi has been ranked 8th this time. Modi is followed by Vladimir Putin at 9th and Joe Biden at 20th. However, this year Narendra Modi has come down four places in this list as compared to last year.
Former US chief Barack Obama is at the top of the list this time as well. It is followed by Microsoft co-founder Bill Gates in second place. Chinese President Xi Jinping is third and Portuguese footballer Ronaldo is fourth. The special thing is that Obama has been on the first place in this list for the second consecutive year.
The company surveyed 42 thousand people from 38 countries to collect the popularity figures. In this list of Most Admired Men also Indians were very ahead. Apart from Modi, Sachin Tendulkar was 12th, Shahrukh Khan 14th, Amitabh Bachchan 15th and Virat Kohli 18th. 5-5 people from India and America were ranked in the list. Apart from this, four names from China, two from Argentina, one each from Russia-Portugal-Pakistan and South Africa have been included. The most important thing is that Joe Biden is ranked below Imran Khan and Donald Trump in the list.
Imran Khan has been ranked 17th on the list and Trump is 12th while Joe Biden is at 20th place in this list. The company has also been included in the list of Most Admired Women, in which Michelle Obama, wife of Barack Obama, has been ranked first. Priyanka Chopra, Aishwarya Rai Bachchan and writer Sudha Murthy have been included in this list of 20 women from India.
