New Delhi: Voting for the first phase of Lok Sabha elections has been done and now 6 phases of voting are left. Meanwhile, Prime Minister Narendra Modi, who is campaigning vigorously for BJP and NDA in the Lok Sabha elections, will hold several rallies today i.e. on Thursday also. PM Modi will address various public meetings in Madhya Pradesh and Uttar Pradesh today. PM will address ‘Vijay Sankalp Rally’ at SAF Ground in Morena, Madhya Pradesh at 11.30 am. After this, at 1.15 pm, he is scheduled to address the joint public meeting of Agra and Fatehpur Sikri Lok Sabha at Kothi Meena Bazaar in Agra, Uttar Pradesh.
After this, Prime Minister Narendra Modi will address the joint public meeting of Badaun and Amla Lok Sabha in support of Lok Sabha candidate Chhatrapal Singh Gangwar at the military base of Amla, Alampur Jafrabad, Devchara at 3.30 pm. PM Narendra Modi will address a huge public meeting at Modi Ground in Bareilly Mod for the proposed mega public meeting in Shahjahanpur at 5.15 pm.
Defense Minister Rajnath Singh will address a public meeting in Lakhimpur Kheri, Uttar Pradesh at 11.30 am. At 1.40 pm, he will address a huge public meeting in support of Lok Sabha candidate Dr. Ramshankar Katheria at Bharatiya Vidyapeeth Inter College, Kasba Rajpur, Kanpur Dehat. Union Home Minister Amit Shah will address a public meeting in Sonipet, Telangana. He will then address a public meeting at 4 pm in Sonapur city of western Odisha under Bolangir parliamentary constituency. His night stay will be in Bhubaneswar where he will hold a meeting with senior leaders.
Lok Sabha and Assembly elections in Odisha are to be held simultaneously in four phases from May 13 to June 1. Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath, one of the star campaigners of BJP, will address a huge public meeting organized at Ramlila Maidan in Jaswantnagar. State Deputy Chief Minister Keshav Prasad Maurya will attend the nomination public meeting in support of BJP candidate Subrata Pathak from Kannauj Lok Sabha at 10 am.
BSP’s national convenor Akash Anand will address an election rally at Janta Sahyog Inter College, Gosai Bazar, Lalganj, Azamgarh at 11 am in support of the party’s Lok Sabha candidate from Lalganj, Dr. Indu Chaudhary. Gujarat Chief Minister Bhupendra Patel will be with BJP candidate Sanjay Kumar Bandi from Karimnagar Lok Sabha seat of Telangana while filing his nomination papers at 10:00 am.
Congress’s Sachin Pilot will do a joint tour of Ujjain, Mandsaur and Dewas districts with Madhya Pradesh Congress President Jitu Patwari, Leader of Opposition Bhai Umang Singhar, Rajya Sabha MP Vivek Tankha. This will be the first MP visit of the former Deputy CM of Rajasthan in the Lok Sabha elections. In Ujjain and Mandsaur, he will attend the nomination rally of the Congress candidate and address the public meeting. Former Chief Minister of Uttar Pradesh and Samajwadi Party chief Akhilesh Yadav will file his nomination from Kannauj Lok Sabha seat at 12 noon. Earlier the party had made Tej Pratap Yadav a candidate from here, but he was removed within 48 hours. Swami Prasad Maurya will participate in the Kushinagar public relations program/tour program in Kushinagar on 25th April. (Input IANS)
