Mumbai BJP leader Kirit Somaiya has alleged that Shiv Sainiks pelted stones at his vehicle outside Khar police station in Mumbai. He was injured by this stone pelting. Blood was also seen coming out from near Kirit’s mouth due to stone being hit. BJP has described this incident as an example of poor law and order of Mahavikas Aghadi government in Maharashtra. The incident took place when Kirit Somaiya came out meeting Amravati MP Navneet Rana and her MLA husband Ravi Rana at Khar police station. Navneet and Ravi have been arrested by the police on charges of disturbing the peace after the announcement of reading Hanuman Chalisa outside Matoshree, the house of CM Uddhav Thackeray.

According to Kirit Somaiya, Shiv Sainiks pelted stones at his car at the behest of the police. Most of the windows of the car were broken by this. It is alleged that Shiv Sainiks also threw slippers and bottles at his car. Kirit tweeted the video after the incident and said that the police allowed Uddhav Thackeray’s goons to assemble at Khar police station. When I came out, these goons pelted stones. Because of which the window glass of the car broke and I felt it. Kirit wrote that this attack was carried out on him under the supervision of the police.

After the attack on Kirit, local BJP leader Mohit Kamboj strongly condemned the incident and targeted Uddhav Thackeray as well as Mumbai Police Commissioner Sanjay Pandey. Mohit Kamboj wrote in Twitter that Sanjay Pandey has failed to handle the law and order situation in the city and he should resign from the post. Mohit also wrote that the goons are attacking and there is no FIR against them. It seems that somewhere the Mumbai Police has a hand in every incident. Let us tell you that the Shiv Sainiks had also allegedly targeted Mohit Kamboj’s vehicle and vandalized it.
