Addressing a public meeting here, he said that ‘Mothers and sisters have come here in large numbers. The hard work you do, the challenges you face to support your family, Modi has seen this in his own home too. PM Modi said that ‘big powerful people of the country and the world have united to remove him from power. It is the blessing of women power and mother power, it is your protective shield that Modi is moving forward despite facing every challenge. Service and safety of sisters and daughters is Modi’s priority.
PM Narendra Modi said that the BJP-led NDA government at the Center has connected 10 crore women with self-help groups in 10 years and made one crore women ‘Lakhpati Didi’. Former minister from Chikkaballapur K. Sudhakar is the BJP candidate while its ally Janata Dal (Secular) has fielded M Mallesh Babu from the neighboring Kolar seat. The Prime Minister said that on Friday, voting in the first phase of Lok Sabha elections went in favor of the NDA and a developed India.

Taking aim at the opposition ‘India’ alliance, he said that it currently has no leader and no vision for the future and has a history of scams. Praising the energy of JD(S) founder and former Prime Minister HD Deve Gowda, who he shared the stage with at the age of 90, Modi said he takes inspiration from him. PM Modi said that ‘Deve Gowda’s commitment towards Karnataka, the pain in his heart for the current condition of the state and the enthusiasm in his voice are witness to the bright future of the state.’ JD(S) had joined NDA in September last year. Lok Sabha elections are to be held in Karnataka in two phases. Voting for 14 seats in the southern part of the state is to be held on April 26, while voting for the remaining 14 seats (northern region) is to be held on May 7.
