What do Asmat Jah’s supporters have to say?
Asmat Jah is the eldest son of Mohammed Mukarram Jah, the seventh Nizam of Hyderabad. He currently lives in London. Asmat Jah’s supporters say that after Mukarram Jah, only Asmat Jah can take it forward, so he should be made the head of the Nizam family. Apart from the right to property, whatever valuables received by Mukarram Jah, even if it is a gift, should be given to Asmat Jah. Supporters say that the grandson and relatives of the seventh Nizam have no right over it. However, nothing has been said on how much is the total property. As per the post, Asmat Jah has control of 4 Palaces spread over 50 acres in Hyderabad. It includes Falaknuma, Chowmohalla Palace, Falaknuma Palace, Narji Bagh and Purani Haveli. There is such a unique view of art and artefacts in these palaces that it is made on sight.
Apart from this, the Nizam family also has an exclusive Waqf property named Akauf Trust, which is said to be worth thousands of crores. At the same time, now the family members of the sixth and seventh Nizam have demanded equal rights on these same properties. In view of his demand, the supporters of Asmat Jah have advised to avoid such people who claim Asaf Jahi dynasty as their own for personal interest. The Asmat Jah camp says that during his tenure, the seventh Nizam had created several trusts for the benefit of the family and for the service of the people. The trust was originally created for the coming generations as well. That’s why they have no right on anyone other than this trust.
Problems with Asmat Jah becoming the leader of the seventh Nizam’s family
There are 195 members in the family of Najaf Ali Khan. This family is spread all over the world and describes itself as a descendant of the seventh Nizam of Hyderabad. The family members of the seventh Nizam say that Asmat Jah never came to Hyderabad, nor did he ever care for the family members. In such a situation suddenly Asmat Jah comes and declares himself as the head of the Mizam family. This is not correct. From money to how can they get rights over the entire property. At the same time, a member of this group has also filed a petition against it in the Hyderabad Civil Court. Through the petition, he has claimed the share on all the four palaces located in Hyderabad. Apart from this, the family members of Najaf Ali Khan have also sought their share of Rs 325 crore received from the Hyderabad Fund.
