Pune. A big update has come in the Pune Porsche road accident case. The Juvenile Board member who had granted bail to the minor accused within 15 hours has now been issued a notice for irresponsible duty. A committee investigating the discrepancies in the accident case has found many shortcomings in their report. In the report submitted to the Social Justice Department, the committee has said that there are many flaws in the way Dr. Danvade handled the case on the day of the incident. He did not even wait for the police to submit the blood sample.
In its report, the committee said that the Juvenile Justice Board (JJB) did not even prepare a roster that day, as is the norm. Dr. Danvade “hastily” passed the decision to release the accused minor. The committee said that the order should have been given in the presence of more members of the JJB, but apart from Dr. Danvade, no one from the JJB was present in the court when the bail order was passed.
Show cause notice
The committee said that since the deficiencies were obvious, the JJB bench would have overturned the bail order the next day. Notices have been issued against all JJB members. Show cause notices have been issued against all JJB members, including non-judicial members. They have been ordered to respond to the alleged deficiencies.
two people had died
During the night of 18-19 May, the minor son of a Pune builder hit a motorcycle while driving a Porsche car at a speed of 200 kmph. In this, Anish Avadhiya, an IT worker from Madhya Pradesh and his friend Ashwini Koshta died. According to the police, the teenager was driving under the influence of alcohol. At the same time, to save her son from arrest, the boy’s mother replaced the sample with her blood at Sasoon General Hospital.
Essay of 300 words
While granting bail to the minor that night, the Juvenile Board ordered the boy to write a 300-word essay on road safety and pay a bond of ₹15,000. Later, after the news went viral on social media, these conditions were amended. The minor was sent to a remand home.
