Punjab Assembly Election Result 2022: Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) has got tremendous support in Punjab and the party is going to form the government there. Before that the party’s chief ministerial candidate Bhagwant Mann reached Delhi and met Chief Minister and party’s national convener Arvind Kejriwal and took his blessings by touching his feet. Delhi Deputy Chief Minister Manish Sisodia was also present on the occasion. Bhagwant Mann will take oath on March 16. He has invited Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal for his swearing-in ceremony. This was also one of the motives of his Delhi visit. Apart from this, he will also do a road show in Amritsar with Delhi CM Arvind Kejriwal on March 13.

Earlier, Bhagwant Mann, when asked about the swearing-in, had said that we will take oath not in Raj Bhavan, but in Bhagat Singh’s native village. He said that the swearing-in ceremony of the new cabinet of Punjab would be held at Khatkar Kalan, the native village of great freedom fighter Bhagat Singh in Nawanshahr district. He claimed that photographs of the Chief Minister would not be put up in any government office. Instead, photographs of Bhagat Singh and BR Ambedkar would be put up on the walls in government offices.
Let us tell you that the Aam Aadmi Party has done a clean sweep in Punjab. Out of 117 seats in Punjab, AAP got 92, Congress 18, Akali Dal+ 4, BJP+ 2 and others 1 seat. Bhagwant Mann also registered a landslide victory by defeating Dalveer Singh Goldie of INC by more than 58 thousand votes from Dhuri. Bhagwant Mann appealed to the people to work unitedly and said that those who did not vote for AAP need not worry as the government will work for all sections of the society.
