Delhi Police says that information is needed about the woman suffering from Rahul. So that he can be given protection. According to sources, the Delhi Police now wants to take his statement.
Delhi Police sources had earlier informed that on March 15 and 16, they tried to give notice to Rahul Gandhi in this matter. According to police sources, on March 15, when the policemen reached Rahul’s official residence to serve the notice, they were made to wait there for about three hours. Even after this, Rahul Gandhi did not meet him. In such a situation, the policemen who went to give the notice had to return empty-handed. Delhi Police personnel again reached Rahul Gandhi’s official residence the next day i.e. on 16 March. On that date also, Rahul Gandhi took the notice after making him wait for about one and a half hours. Regarding this notice, sources say that apart from information about the victim woman, Delhi Police has asked many questions.
On the other hand, the Congress was seen making this matter an issue as well. Many Congress leaders had said that Rahul Gandhi was being harassed for political reasons. However, Rahul Gandhi has not yet reacted to the notice given by the Delhi Police. Rahul Gandhi has been embroiled in controversies for the last few days.
