Giving information in this regard, Congress General Secretary KC Venugopal said, “We have boycotted the proceedings of the Lok Sabha for the remaining day in protest against the suspension of 12 Rajya Sabha MPs. He said that soon after the commencement of the proceedings of the Parliament today, we have also requested the Chairman of Rajya Sabha to revoke the suspension of 12 MPs from the House for the entire winter session. At present, no decision has been taken by the Chairman in this regard.

Significantly, on the very first day of the commencement of the winter session of Parliament, 12 MPs from the Rajya Sabha have been suspended.
