Know what is the rule of fine
If a passenger carries more luggage than the limit during the journey in the train, then he may have to pay a fine of more than Rs 600 for a journey of up to 500 kilometers and this fine is decided on the basis of distance. If there is more luggage, then it has to be deposited in the luggage bogie and money has to be paid accordingly. If you do not do this then you may also have to pay a fine.
It is prohibited to carry these goods in railways.
Releasing public information, Railways has said that people’s bags will be checked through scanners at every major railway station and if crackers or other inflammable substances are found in their bags, they will be seized immediately. A fine of ₹ 1000 and jail up to 6 months can also be given to people if caught during traffic in the train.
Along with this, Railways has just told that carrying gas cylinders and other inflammable substances is strictly prohibited in Railways.
