Vande Bharat’s speed will decrease
Indian Railways has given a big update. Railways has put brakes on the speed of Vande Bharat train, which means that now Vande Bharat train will run at a lower speed than before. The speed of Vande Bharat train going from Nizamuddin, Delhi Railway Station to Rani Kamlapati and Khajuraho has been reduced from 160 to 130 kmph. Indian Railways is installing Kavach system between New Delhi and Agra. Instructions have been given to reduce the speed of trains till the installation of Kavach system is completed. Railways has reduced the speed of Vande Bharat train from security point of view.
Let us tell you that after the recent train accident in Bengal, the railway’s concern about safe train operations has increased. To prevent train accidents, the railway is rapidly installing the shield system on many routes. The work of equipping all routes and trains with indigenous anti-collision equipment shield is being expedited by the railway. That is why the speed of high-speed trains is being reduced until the safety shield is available.
Railways gave this important information
Instructions have also been issued to reduce the speed of trains on the New Delhi to Palwal-Agra rail section.
The maximum speed of New Delhi-Rani Kamlapati Vande Bharat, Hazrat Nizamuddin-Khajuraho Vande Bharat and New Delhi-Veerangana Laxmibai Jhansi Gatiman Express is 160 kmph.
Work is underway to create a Kavach network on this route.
This work has been completed on approximately 80 kilometres between Palwal and Agra.
Now instructions have been given to increase the maximum speed of these trains to 130 kmph till the work on this entire section is completed. The speed will be kept low till the work is completed.
