New Delhi . Opposing Maharashtra Navnirman Sena (MNS) chief Raj Thackeray’s proposed visit to Ayodhya next month, BJP MP Brij Bhushan Sharan Singh on Tuesday said unless he publicly apologizes for insulting North Indians, he will not be allowed to stay in the city. will not be allowed to enter. Terming it as a protest against self-respect, the BJP MP said during a press briefing here that if Raj Thackeray did not apologise, a protest would be held against his visit and he would not be allowed to enter the city of Ayodhya.

He said that the MNS chief should apologize to the North Indians by showing respect to him for what happened in 2008, knowingly or unintentionally. The BJP MP said that apologizing would not insult him, but it would enhance his personality.
Singh said that Uttar Pradesh and Maharashtra have historical ties since the time of Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj, but the MNS chief has destroyed that relationship between the two states, as North Indians are living as second-class citizens in Mumbai. . He said that he has no enmity with Marathas and he is opposing the attitude or behavior of only one person Raj Thackeray and not the entire Maratha community.
The BJP MP claimed that he had the support of the Janata Dal (United) in the protest.
MNS chief Raj Thackeray is scheduled to visit Ayodhya on June 5. On April 17, Thackeray had announced in Pune that he would visit Ayodhya on June 5 to seek the blessings of Lord Ram.
