Jaipur. This time the heat in Rajasthan has broken all records. On the very first day of Nautapa, the temperature in Phalodi in western Rajasthan reached 50 degrees. Due to this, a burning sensation started in the body. In Rajasthan, not only Phalodi but also in the adjoining Barmer and Jaisalmer, the temperature crossed 48 degrees. Eight more people lost their lives on Saturday due to the scorching heat. The entire desert is burning like a pan. The Meteorological Department has warned that there will be no relief from this deadly heat for two-three days. Therefore, people should be alert and take necessary precautions.
According to the Meteorological Department, the temperature in Phalodi broke all records and reached 50 degrees on Saturday. It was 6.9 degrees above normal. Along with this, humans and animals were troubled by the intense heat in adjoining Jaisalmer, Jodhpur and Barmer as well as Bikaner, Ganganagar, Churu and Kota. There is news of eight more people dying due to heat stroke in the scorching heat. It is a different matter that the government has not yet considered them as heat deaths.

The temperature is expected to rise further
According to the Meteorological Department, almost the entire Rajasthan is in the grip of severe heat. Severe heatwave has been recorded in most places of Jodhpur, Bikaner, Kota, Jaipur, Ajmer and Udaipur divisions. The highest minimum temperature has also been recorded in Barmer at 33.6 degrees Celsius. This is also 6.1 degrees above normal. There is a possibility of further increase of 1 to 2 degrees in temperature in most parts of the state in the next two-three days. Hot winds are expected to blow at night as well.
There is an undeclared curfew on the roads
Due to this severe heat in Rajasthan, there is an undeclared curfew on the roads after 11 am in the entire state. There is chaos in the entire state due to heat and lack of electricity. A large number of heat stroke cases are coming to hospitals. In view of the heat wave, the state government is on full alert mode. Leaves of officers and employees of electricity, water and health departments have been cancelled.
