New Delhi. The three-day Nav Sankalp Shivir (Chintan Shivir) of the Congress is starting in Udaipur, the famous city of Rajasthan, in which veteran Congress leaders from across the country have reached Udaipur to participate. More than 430 top Congress functionaries from every corner of the country are participating in it. In this Nav Sankalp Shivir, there is a possibility of brainstorming on serious topics like the coming assembly elections, Lok Sabha elections, factionalism going on inside the party, top leadership of the party etc. But on the very first day of the start of Nav Sankalp Shivir in quiet Udaipur, the opposition’s attack has started on it. The Rajasthan BJP state president took a jibe at the organization of this camp by tweeting, “Rajasthan is burning and Congress is busy contemplating.”
Rajasthan BJP state president Dr. Satish Poonia has made a strong attack on Congress’s Chintan Shivir in three tweets from his Twitter account in the early hours of today. Dr Poonia tweeted and wrote that “Train travel to show proximity to common man, then stay at Taj Udaipur, repeat “Parivar Sharanam Gacchami” for serious posture of contemplation. Rajasthan burning in air-conditioned contemplation – administrative inefficiency – arson – stone pelting – riots – nothing to be seen. The show of Congress dividing society for power has started, this thinking is going to increase the concern of @INCIndia.
After that the tweet from the Twitter account of Dr Poonia’s office “Rajasthan is burning and Congress is busy contemplating” which Dr Poonia retweeted.
Even before this, on Wednesday, Dr. Satish Poonia had advised Sonia Gandhi to accept the resignation of Ashok Gehlot before the start of the Chintan Shivir. It is known that Ashok Gehlot had said a few days ago that my resignation is kept with Sonia ji, she can accept it whenever she wants.
At the same time, Deputy Leader of Opposition in Rajasthan Assembly and senior BJP leader Rajendra Rathor has also taken a dig at Congress’s Chintan Shivir from his Twitter account. He wrote, “In Congress’s Chintan Shivir, Yuvraj Rahul Gandhi may try to bring back the derailed Congress on track after reaching Udaipur by train, but now people will never accept Congress’s politics of dynasty and appeasement. Chintan Shivir is nothing but political tourism.”
In fact, communal incidents are taking place in different parts of Rajasthan after stone-pelting on a saffron rally that came out from Muslim area of Karauli on Hindu New Year in Rajasthan, due to which Hindu-Muslim tension is going on at the peak. In many districts like Jodhpur, Alwar, Karauli, Bhilwara, Bharatpur etc. Internet was suspended due to tension and many people were detained. In the midst of all this, BJP is attacking Congress’s Chintan Shivir.
