On the occasion of Rajasthan Hindu New Year, communal incidents have been the subject of discussion in the country after stone-pelting on a saffron rally that took out from Muslim area in Karauli district. After Karauli, the incident of demolition of 300-year-old Shiva temple in Alwar, stone pelting and arson after Eid prayers in Jodhpur has drawn the attention of the entire country to Rajasthan. The Ashok Gehlot government is being accused of appeasement by the BJP, while the ruling party is telling the hand of BJP-RSS behind all these incidents. Gehlot government’s troubles, these incidents are not taking the name of stopping in Rajasthan and in the same series, on Friday, in Udaipur, the city of lakes, three Muslim community people were punished under Section 295 of the Indian Penal Code for hurting Hindu religious sentiments. Under arrest, a new case has been added. In Alipura area of Udaipur, an FIR has been lodged against Zakir Hussain and other Muslim youths living in the community building of the Municipal Corporation located near the Shiv-Hanuman temple.
Actually, Zakir Hussain and Nazim Akhtar made non-veg on the roof of the community building and after making non-veg, threw the garbage and bones on the roof of the temple. On this, a large number of residents gathered outside the temple on Friday and people informed the Bhupalpura police station. On which the police took quick action and arrested the youths. Bhupalpura police station officer Bhawani Singh Rajawat said that Zakir Hussain, Gulzar and Nazim Akhtar, residents of Bihar, have been arrested under section 295 of IPC. All three were living in the community hall located near the Hanuman-Shiva temple for a long time. What was their intention behind throwing bones and garbage on the temple premises, it is being investigated. The police have arrested three youths, but on whose orders they were living in the community hall for a long time. The police have no answer for this.
In order to sanctify the temple premises, Vishwa Hindu Parishad and Bajrang Dal activists sprinkled Gangajal on the temple premises with chanting of mantras in the night itself. In this case, Rajendra Parmar, an activist of Hinduist organization from Udaipur, says that “There should be a thorough investigation in this matter that what was the intention behind these youths throwing bones and dirt on the temple? At the same time, these people were living in the community hall of the Municipal Corporation for a long time without any permission, action should be taken against the officials of the Municipal Corporation.
