Jaipur . The Rajivika Saras National Craft Fair being organized at Jawahar Kala Kendra from March 20-29 is of art and craft made in traditional styles of rural India. In this fair, artisans belonging to Rajeevika Self Help Groups from all the districts of Rajasthan are participating with unique products made in their own special style. Apart from this, 48 groups from other states are displaying their artistic skills with their regional products. With the passing of the day of the fair, the number of people coming here is also increasing. People visiting in large numbers are liking and buying these beautiful handmade products.
The aromatic spices of Kerala, cardamom, black pepper, mace, cinnamon, clove, pure coconut oil are in high demand. The group grows these spices in their own gardens. The aroma of the exquisite variety of spices is attracting the people. There are other stalls in Kerala where different types of costumes made by mothers of autistic children have been brought. These include Kids Frock, Kerala Khadi Kurti, Nightie, Cloth Tiffin Carry, Bag, Apron etc.
Special attractions of the fair – Kota-Doraya of Kota, Meenakari of Rajsamand, Leather footwear of Dausa, Lac bangles of Sawai Madhopur, Applique of Barmed, Blue pottery of Jaipur etc.

Keeping in mind the objective of women empowerment and eradication of rural poverty, Rajivika is doing livelihood promotion work in rural areas of Rajasthan through self-help groups. Taking initiative for wide publicity of the work being done by women for livelihood, Rajeevika is organizing Saras Mela. The fair helps the artisans to build an effective network of demand-supply and skill sets of SHGs, showcasing their products.
