In this, special focus is being given on Garbage Free Cities (GFC) and Water Plus. In 2021, the rank was affected due to low marks in the Star Ranking certification, but this time with the introduction of STP, not only the sewerage water is being cleaned and used, but also polythene ban for GFC, ban on disposal and waste collection system. The system of execution has also been improved. The corporation has to upload documents in both these segments by March 15 on the portal of Swachh Survekshan.
It is to be known that this time the survey will be of 7500 marks, whereas in the previous survey it was 6000 marks. Several new parameters have been added to assess the cleanliness of cities. The central team will come for face-to-face feedback from the public. Digital assessment has already started. This time more feedback will be taken from senior citizens and youth in the survey. Along with Corona Waste Management, what is the arrangement for the disposal of garbage coming out of religious and social events, its points have also been fixed.
This time 3000 marks of service level progress
In the cleanliness survey last year, 2000 marks of service level progress were fixed. This time 3000 has been done. The service level progress includes ban on plastic and polythene, segregation of wet and dry waste, disposal of garbage and cleaning of sewerage etc. In this, this time Safai Mitra security has also been added, that is, whether the cleaning work in the city is manual or mechanical, whether the employees are equipped with safety equipment or not. Safai Mitras got corona vaccination or not. On the basis of all these services, a total of 3000 marks have been kept for service level progress.
2250 marks of Citizen Voice
2250 marks have been fixed for Citizen Voice, in which it will be tested that how the corporation is working in keeping the city clean. Apart from this, 10 questions will be asked from the residents of the city. In this, whether the garbage is picked up daily from the houses or not, do you segregate the wet and dry garbage, do you know that you can search the nearest toilet on Google. Have you downloaded the Swachhata app or any city based app in your mobile to make complaints related to sanitation.
2250 marks for certification
2250 marks have been earmarked for certification. Last year 1800 marks were fixed. Is the city completely open defecation free or not? This includes 1250 marks for Seven Star City, 1000 marks for Five Star City, 800 marks for Three Star City, 500 marks for One Star City, 400 for ODF Plus Certificate, 800 marks for ODF Plus Plus Certificate, and 1000 marks for Water Plus Certificate. have been determined.

01-Challan on those who spread dirt- In the ongoing action against those who spread dirt in the city, the Municipal Corporation has also challaned more than 1000 persons and collected fines in the last one month. On Sunday, a fine of Rs 15,000 was imposed on 21 persons. They were also instructed not to litter and encroachment.
02-Open defecation – Rs 500 from Prakash Ranjan for defecating in the open on Sunday, Rs 100 each from Ghanshyam, Ramesh, Sukhram for urinating in the open, Rs 50 each from Mukesh, Samson and Krishnapal Singh . Looking at the 2021 results
In the cleanliness survey 2021, the city was ranked 42nd out of 372 cities with a population of one to one million. A total of 3930.37 marks were obtained out of 6000. In this, 1903 marks were scored in the highest 40 percent (2400) marks for Service Level Progress, 1526.53 out of 1800 marks for Citizen Vice and 500 marks out of 1800 marks for Certification-Star Rating.
