Selected people get benefits of government schemes
Nowadays, due to the increase in the prices of food grains, water and oil, it is not hidden from anyone that the general public is facing a lot of trouble. Although, many schemes are being run by the government for the needy, but only a select few people get its benefits, that is, you must have a card to avail the benefits.
The first rule was to give two liters of mustard oil for free
Efforts are made to help the needy with the help of BPL ration card holders and Antyodaya card holders (AAY). Wheat and rice are given free of cost to the card holders. You will remember that under this scheme there was a rule to give two liters of mustard oil free of cost along with the grains. Food grains continued to be given, but the government stopped the distribution of oil in June 2021 due to rising prices and instead gave Rs 250 a month.
Now the Haryana government has taken a decision in this regard
Now the Haryana government is considering to give more amount to the beneficiaries instead of Rs.250 instead of oil. Now 32 lakh families taking advantage of BPL and AAY ration cards will be given an increased amount, that is, instead of 250, they are being considered to be given Rs 300.
