The 52nd match of the 17th season of the Indian Premier League (IPL) is being played between Royal Challengers Bangalore and Gujarat Titans, in which the RCB team has decided to bowl first after winning the toss. While RCB has not made any changes in its playing 11 for this match, there have been two major changes in the Gujarat Titans team, one of which is the 24-year-old left arm fast bowler from Ireland, Joshua Little. The other name included is that of 21 year old player Manav Suthar who has got a chance to make his debut in IPL.
Joshua will play his first match this season
Gujarat Titans team has made Joshua Little a part of its playing 11 for the first time in the 17th season of IPL. Little has played 10 matches in the IPL so far, in which he has taken 7 wickets at an average of 42. Gujarat had to face a crushing defeat by 9 wickets against RCB in the last match, after which they have made Joshua Little a part of their team for this match in place of Azmatullah Shahidi. It is very important to win this match to keep Gujarat Titans’ hopes of reaching the playoffs alive.
Manav Suthar included in place of Sai Kishore
Talking about the second change of Gujarat Titans team in the match against RCB, they have replaced Manav Suthar in place of Sai Kishore. 21-year-old Suthar is a left-arm spinner as well as a batsman and apart from the Indian Under-19 team, he has also played for India A. Suthar plays for Rajasthan team in domestic cricket. So far, he has played 7 T20 matches in his career in which he has taken only 4 wickets. Whereas in List-A format, Suthar has taken 15 wickets in his name while playing in 8 matches.
