On the occasion of 400th Prakash Parv of Sikh Guru Tegh Bahadur, Prime Minister Narendra Modi (PM Modi) addressed the country after attending a function organized at the Red Fort on the previous day. Referring to Aurangzeb in his address, the PM read the praises of Guru Tegh Bahadur. PM Modi said that the Red Fort is a witness that Aurangzeb, terrorists like him have beheaded many people but they could not separate our faith from us. At that time there was a great hope for India to save its identity in the form of Guru Tegh Bahadur Sahib. Who stood as a rock in front of Aurangzeb’s tyrannical thinking.

This fort has also seen the martyrdom of Guru Tegh Bahadur ji and has also tested the spirit of people who died for the country. The sacrifice of Guru Tegh Bahadur ji inspired many generations of India to live and die for the dignity of their culture to protect their dignity. Big power has disappeared, big storms have calmed down, but India still stands immortal, is moving ahead.
‘India has never been a threat to any country or society’
