Election campaigns of parties started before the assembly elections
New Delhi, July 11 (IANS)| Assembly elections are due in Uttarakhand after a few months. This is the reason that all the major parties are busy in their preparations. Here, the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) has also announced that if their government is formed in Uttarakhand, then 300 units of electricity will be given to each family free of cost. AAP convener Arvind Kejriwal announced, “Our government will start afresh by waiving all the old bills. 24 hours electricity will be given. People of Uttarakhand also want that like Delhi, now Uttarakhand also has development.” “What I say is not an election gimmick, it is Kejriwal’s guarantee,” he said.
The Power Minister of Uttarakhand had announced to give 100 units of electricity free and 100 to 200 units of electricity at half rate. Kejriwal said that this announcement also turned out to be a jumla. There are two models in front of Uttarakhand – first, in which governments run at a loss and there is corruption and second, there is a government in profit, magnificent schools and hospitals are being built. Aam Aadmi Party’s national convener and Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal said, “Uttarakhand is considered as Devbhoomi. God has left no stone unturned in giving Uttarakhand. God has given everything. Uttarakhand has rivers, mountains, trees.” There are vegetation, there are herbs. Uttarakhand has hardworking people, good people, honest people, but the leaders of Uttarakhand and the parties of Uttarakhand have left no stone unturned to ruin Uttarakhand.”
The AAP chief said, “Right now we are seeing that the ruling party does not have a CM at all. One is made, then the ruling party thinks it is useless, then creates the other and says no, this too is useless. I think this must be happening for the first time in the history of 70 years of India that any party itself says that our CM is useless, although the opposition says that this party or CM is bad, but it says itself. It is that our CM is bad and now we are changing it.”
