Bollywood’s Jhansi ki Rani may be declared candidate from Himachal Pradesh’s Mandi Lok Sabha seat
BJP is going to give ticket to Bollywood actress Kangana Ranaut. The Rani of Jhansi of Bollywood can be declared a candidate from the Mandi Lok Sabha seat of Himachal Pradesh. The seat fell vacant after the death of BJP MP Ramswaroop Sharma. BJP is preparing to shoot many targets with one arrow by bringing Kangana in front from this seat. Apart from Mandi Lok Sabha seat, by-elections will also be held on October 30 for three assembly seats of Himachal Pradesh. The Fatehpur, Jubbal Kothkai and Arki assembly seats in the state have fallen vacant after the death of the sitting MLAs. The Arki seat has been the traditional seat of six-time Chief Minister Virbhadra Singh, who fell vacant after his death on July 8. The candidates for each of these seats have not been finalized yet. But the list of contenders is long.
However, Kangana Ranaut has not yet clarified whether she has to contest the elections or not. But he has shown willingness to contest elections. The party leadership also wants him to contest the elections. Kangana Ranaut is a well-known Bollywood actress and constantly speaks against Shiv Sena and other opposition parties in Mumbai. On the other hand, if they are given tickets, then lobbying for ticket claimants at the local level can end the party’s confusion. Anyway, a large part of the party is in favor of giving ticket to Kangana.
Let us tell you that Pankaj Jamwal, younger brother of BJP’s Union Secretary Ajay Jamwal, has also filed his candidature for Mandi seat for seven northeastern states. In such a situation, Nihal Chand, an aide of Chief Minister Jai Ram Thakur, also wants to contest from here. Not only this, Kargil war hero Brigadier Kushal Thakur has also been lobbying for tickets for a long time. Apart from these names, there are more than half a dozen names who are competing for tickets in the by-elections. Kangana hails from Bhambla village in Mandi district.
